Site Updates July 28, 2004
More anime has been added to our vast collection of
anime served on our servers. I will update the Anime News when I get a spare
moment to do so - I am also thinking of some new and interesting things to do
with this site - and within the next month or so to celebrate our 1 year
anniversary of our IRC channel & website - I will endeavor to get a domain
for us along with a decent host so we can GET RID OF THESE BLOODY ADS!!!!!

Update time - I have added a new section to our
site - it will be called Anime News - for interesting tid bits relating to Anime
that I believe will be of some interest to you all.
Other than that we have lots more anime to choose from
- i will do a proper update probably tomorrow after work.

Alas its time for another update - some-what long
overdue but an update nether less I have managed to pry myself away from Anime
to do this update.
We have added a lot more anime titles to our collection
with more and more being added.
Our Anime Title list has been updated - with each title
linking to a synopsis of the anime on AnimeDB

Hinata House
is an irc channel dedicated
to New Zealand Anime fans.
Most of us are New Zealanders and we are all huge anime fans.
The main purpose of this site is to
share and exchange anime with other New Zealander's without having to
worry about chewing up their International Limit on their piddly ADSL
accounts - thanks to Telecom NZ.

HINATA HOUSE - ANIME OF THE WEEK
Each Week I will choose a title that I think
is absolutely awesome and will keep me holding out for more. After viewing the 4
episodes available in Fan Sub so far I believe that SAMURAI 7 is going to be one
hell of an anime to watch out for.
Below is a synopsis ripped from AnimeDB about this
awesome Anime.
 Samurai 7 is based
on Kurosawa Akira`s famous movie, "Seven Samurai".
In the far distant future, on a planet that might have been called "earth",
there was a war between samurais who mechanized their bodies. After the long
war, people enjoyed a modest peace.
In those days, people in Kanna Village are suffering at the hands of the
Nobuseri, who are the ruined samurais. After the war ended, they lost their
purpose to fight, and they`ve been robbing the village of their crops and women.
Because they don`t have any way to fight against them, they have to obey the
Nobureri`s orders.
One year, before harvest season, Gisaku, a head of the village, propose that
they hire samurais to protect them from the Nobuseri.
Riki, who is a young boy full of energy, Kirara and Komachi, twin priestesses,
go to a town to look for samurais to help them.
